I just bought the coolest PDF pattern from Bugga Bugs heart-felt fun. It is a pattern to make groceries out of felt.
How fun is this??!! I'm due to have a baby in October and I've had a lot of fun looking around Etsy for fun baby and kid stuff. The instructions for the above items are well written and I can't wait to get started! Be sure to check out her shop.
I did a little shopping on Etsy yesterday. I bought this cute bag PDF pattern from Keyka Lou. I made my purchase and then the PDF pattern arrived in my inbox within a couple of hours! I thought that was so cool!!
I'm on a little sewing kick. I took a class from my friend Nancy on Monday night. She owns a quilt shop nearby and offers a '5th Monday' sewing project. We show up with our supplies and get to make the project for free. She's there to supply us the instructions and gives us help as we need it. We made a cute little Grab Bag at her class. You can read about it at the end of this post over at our Itchin' for Stitchin' guild blog.
We had a guild meeting last night and several of us showed off our Grab Bags. Don't you just love all these fun fabrics?!
I also bought some magnetic snaps from CottonTouch. I've had closures like this for purses I've bought and they are fantastic! I thought they would be great for the purse I'm making.
