Summer Card Camp - Day 1

    I'm so excited to be apart of Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire's Summer Card Camp!!  Yesterday was Day 1 and we were challenged to make a card using the color combo shown below.  

Here's the card that I came up with:

 

    I've been in a card making rut and I'm really hoping this class will give me a boost.  I'm anxious to start today's assignment.  I hope to share it with you soon.  Thanks for stopping by.

Stamps: The Angel Company - Happy Birthday sentiment from 'Swirly Sayings' and the birthday hats are also from a TAC set...but I can't remember the name. 

Ink: Onyx Black VersaFine for the sentiment and Tuxedo Black Momento ink for the birthday hats.

     I'm trying to make a few layouts of Lily before baby Jack gets here in August.  This picture of Lily and my sister Samantha was taken on Easter Sunday.  I used PTI's Spot Dot stamp set and TAC's Miss Moxie paper.  
    I'm on summer break and loving every minute of it!  Lily is 19 months old and keeps us on our toes.  We recently purchased a water table and sand box for her and it's so much fun to watch her play.  She's such a happy kid!
