After having a super busy day (full day of teaching, kindergarten round-up this evening, and then a run on the treadmill) I found a little time to stamp - yeah! I just got the butterfly die from PTI. Love it!! I don't mind cutting things out, but I think I'm really going to like PTI's dies.
For this card, I stamped PTI's Polka Dot Basics II with Hawaiian Shores ink onto Hawaiian Shores card stock. I layered a couple strips of card stock - Spring Moss and more Hawaiian Shores - and topped it off with a die cut butterfly and a few teal rhinestones. I die cut the butterfly first and then stamped my image. Super easy! To add a little dimension, I just tacked down one side of the butterfly.
I just have to share a quick picture of Lily and I. This was taken this past Sunday at church - my dad got a new camera and is snapping pictures all the time. Lily is 5 1/2 months old and she is beginning to roll over. It's funny how excited we all get after she rolls herself over. :) She was already asleep by the time I got home from Kindergarten round-up this evening. I guess she'd really worn herself out with all the rolling today!
Thanks for stopping by and thank you for all who have congratulated me about the CDS summer spot. I can't wait to get to know everyone else on the team and I'm so excited to start creating with my CDS stamps!!
Lily is growing so much! She is so adorable! What a cutie!
Your card is gorgeous too (not as pretty as Lily though...) :) I love the colors you chose and the bling!

Great card and great pic of you and Lily. I remember that the age around 6 mos. was such a FUN age with all the rolling and giggles. Enjoy! :-)
