My little nephew Chase just turned 1 on July 1st. Shortly after he was born, I saw a cute little '1st Year' mini album at a local scrapbook store and bought supplies to make one for Chase. So, here we are a year later and I just finished up the album. Chase's mom and dad (Nikki and Cody) had plenty of pictures for me to pick from each month. :)
As you go through the book, you'll see a picture on the right and then on the left page there is a spot on the lower right corner for journaling. This is where Nikki can record Chase's height and weight for each month. If there is a month she doesn't have that information she can just write about something new Chase had learned to do.
I just love this book because you can watch Chase grow right before your eyes. I have posted three pictures below showing the cover, Chase's newborn picture and then Chase's one year picture. Be sure to check out the slideshow at the end - it shows the whole album.
(when you watch the slideshow, you'll see that the letters on my book cover look dirty...I used my stick machine to adhere these and then the letters got really dirty after the handling...please over look this! :) )

That is adorable!! You did a great job with it. What a special gift too. It'll be time to start one for Lilly before you know it..only this time it can be pink! :)

Great project, Sarah! I'm sure it will be treasured for years to come :)
Love the slide show, by the way :)

Very cute idea. Now get started on your own because even though you think you still have several weeks left before Lily gets here, that time will FLY by and you'll wish you had finished so many projects before then. :)
